My Take

I enjoy how the Sutori community is set up so that teachers can utilize and adapt other Sutoris in the classroom. Sutori has been connected with Google Classroom, G+, Twitter, and Facebook, making sharing a breeze. Additionally, you have the option of creating a link or embedding a Sutori. The open-ended forums feature, as well as the ability to post questions to the timeline, is a useful feature. Overall, it's a fun and innovative approach to create rich content that goes beyond the basic, unchanging themes found in textbooks.

How I Use It

Sutori could be used as an interactive tool for summative and formative assessment in a sixth or Middle School classroom. If students were required to explain their ideas and then share it as a collaborative tool, Sutori may be utilized. The tool could be used to explain both literary and non-literary texts. It could, for example, be used to graphically compare and contrast two or more characters, locales, or events in a story or drama, based on textual facts. Sutori could also be used by students to develop original content in order to tell a story.
