My Take

I like everything about Sutori as the most flexible teaching tool that I've found. I'd say the only critique I'd give is the ability to change the fonts in the Story. That could be a wonderful feature for learners who want to personalize their presentation further.

How I Use It

I use this tool in several ways: 1. To present signature learning experiences to learners. I can create as we go through a 3-6 week session, adding to the Sutori each day a new topic is presented. Our learners add their evidence for a challenge right on the story and receive feedback from their peers (an important feature for our model). Once I've complete a Zoom session, I also upload the recording for those who missed it allowing both synchronous and asynchronous learners to fully participate. 2. Creating a template for learners to use as the framework for the progress report that they edit and present to their parents, ensuring that they have the quick resources at hand to know exactly what is expected of their presentation. 3. As a planning tool. I can create several plans for my learners, breaking it down into weeks, adding resources and creating challenges. Then I can ask for feedback from colleagues right on the resource. I makes feedback easy and re-working challenges simple. Then, I can make a copy and simply take out all my notes to create a learner-facing story. So easy! 4. As an interactive discussion presentation. I can create a discussion flow, use it as a presentation and pause for voting or comments right in the story, when we are finished, we have an interactive record of our whole discussion. The uses are practically endless!
