My Take
I used this site for a year. It was not great. When I switched schools, the auto-renew charged my card. I ended up not using it for that entire year. Consequently, I forgot about the auto-renewal. I tried to get a refund the following year and explained to them that I had not used the site and did not want to. They just kept sending me emails saying "Under our policy, we do not provide refunds". What reputable company, under these circumstances, does not refund?" Especially if it is within a month of the auto-renewal and you have not used it?
How I Use It
I tried to use this resource several times the first year I had it. I used it for review, sometimes for a pretest but mostly for a low-risk assessment.

Life saver
Quizlet is a great way to prepare and study for a test. Personally, I have used it many times in preparation for an exam and it has never let me down. I will say that Quizlet is most helpful when you have to memorize; their flashcards make it easy to go through material fast. It's a bit disappointing you know have to pay for certain features that used to be free, which is why my review is not a full 5 stars. But Quizlet certainly has been there for me during exam season.

makes flashcards way more engaging
Quizlet is a great resource as a teaching tool because it allows students to become more engaged in the learning process because it is more interactive than traditional flashcards. Additionally, students can choose which type of review activity works best for them which helps set them up for success. There is also an option to start a live review game for the entire class which creates competition and reinforces the key terms.
