My Take
I love the quiz option, and students like that they can retake to achieve high scores. If it is done outside of class, however, they quickly figure out how to cheat, i.e. get a high score the first time around. This defeats the objective of memorizing the vocabulary.
How I Use It
The amount of vocabulary covered in human anatomy and physiology is tremendous. In our school we are required to put an emphasis on vocabulary via word walls. Because of the limited amount of time in class for other activities, Quizlet can be used for outside practice and flipped classroom.

Life saver
Quizlet is a great way to prepare and study for a test. Personally, I have used it many times in preparation for an exam and it has never let me down. I will say that Quizlet is most helpful when you have to memorize; their flashcards make it easy to go through material fast. It's a bit disappointing you know have to pay for certain features that used to be free, which is why my review is not a full 5 stars. But Quizlet certainly has been there for me during exam season.

makes flashcards way more engaging
Quizlet is a great resource as a teaching tool because it allows students to become more engaged in the learning process because it is more interactive than traditional flashcards. Additionally, students can choose which type of review activity works best for them which helps set them up for success. There is also an option to start a live review game for the entire class which creates competition and reinforces the key terms.
