My Take
Flashcards for the digital age. Still an effective tool for language learning, with an invaluable pronunciation feature. This app almost never glitches. Its consistent reliability is a major plus. It would benefit from expanded options for learning the set terms.
How I Use It
I use it as a supplemental vocabulary learning tool. It provides students accurate pronunciation in French and German, available on-demand. Quizlet lists are easily embedded in our LMS. Users can upload images to improve sets for visual learners.

Life saver
Quizlet is a great way to prepare and study for a test. Personally, I have used it many times in preparation for an exam and it has never let me down. I will say that Quizlet is most helpful when you have to memorize; their flashcards make it easy to go through material fast. It's a bit disappointing you know have to pay for certain features that used to be free, which is why my review is not a full 5 stars. But Quizlet certainly has been there for me during exam season.

makes flashcards way more engaging
Quizlet is a great resource as a teaching tool because it allows students to become more engaged in the learning process because it is more interactive than traditional flashcards. Additionally, students can choose which type of review activity works best for them which helps set them up for success. There is also an option to start a live review game for the entire class which creates competition and reinforces the key terms.
