My Take
I love the concept of this website combining historic lessons with biographies of designer and project ideas. What's here is fantastic information! My only critique is that it's lacking in overall content. I hope to see more than one page per design sub-topic in the future.
How I Use It
I would use KidsThinkDesign as a research tool for students to investigate different avenues of design and history.

Creative Designing with Technology Tools
Students have the ability to work independently and choose from a variety of design projects, from Film and Theater to Animation, each project studio is design with a toolbox endorsing different options and tools for the student to use. This workshop was used in a career path workshop where students interested in design were able to review the different technology based tools and resources used for that occupation.

DIY learning site focused on design thinking and exploring careers in the field of design such as graphics, animation, and architecture.
This is a great teaching tool in conjunction with other content. It provides students an opportunity to be creative, to explore, and to try in a safe and interesting platform. It also provides a host of other resources for students to explore and learn about design. I see this more as something to use as an extension or even a support at home, which can encourage learning anytime/anywhere.
