I love Espark. It is easy to use. It is fun and engaging for students. My students really like the characters.

My Take
I feel this is beneficial to students as it starts out with a placement assessment. It is easy to adjust skill levels as well as assignments. In my district one downfall is slow internet so sometimes it works slow and students can become impatient.
How I Use It
I use Espark daily. I have 2 pictures with Rocky on the board labeled Reading and Math. I have a clothespin to move daily depending on which one I want them to use. Sometimes I assign something based on a skill I'm working on. Other times. I assign it as daily work during Independent work time.

Tailored to my students
This is a convenient and effective teaching tool. The user-friendly teacher end helps me see reports on usage and student success, which I can use to communicate with parents. I encourage kids to use it a few times each week at home, and even more for students who have fallen below grade level.

Wonderful adaptive resource for reading, writing, and math.
I love how eSpark adapts to my students based on what they are able to complete on their own. I am not overly fond of the writing portion of eSpark. It does not help my students expand on a story as much as I would like to see. At this point, though they are expanding, there are not enough skills for some areas of math and reading.
