My Take
This product is not so much a "teaching tool" as it is a great accessory to have as a teacher. It is very easy to use and set up with a simple, effective layout.
How I Use It
I use it to gather my students' online work in to one area that I can quickly navigate. For example, when my students make YouTube videos, rather than be bogged down by typing and searching for links, I have all the links ready to go using this easy bookmark creator. I can easily navigate back and forth between sites. It's something that may seem simple, but saves you a lot of time in the classroom and helps keep a continuous "flow" during lesson plans when sharing online work of students.

Useful for web-based harvest of favorite websites
A good product. I do not especially care for the social aspect of it (I do not care about what links other people are saving).

Gallery of web sites grouped by project or topic
Delicious is a great tool for tracking web resources. It lends itself to group projects and collections created for the entire class. It is a social bookmarking system.
I find Delicious to be like breadcrumbs of a research project. Each web resource is logged and can be preserved for future review. Projects can include the creation of the link collections or a review of the content.
I enjoyed the ease of the bookmarking. Delicious allows for scriptlets and other integrations in the browser. The convenience of the process is important.

Social Bookmarking - great to set up as a lab homepage
Great to use with students so they never have to remember websites or be redirected to other websites if they make a mistake typing the URL. It has been updated quite a bit lately and unfortunately past updates allow users to be connected to other users, which may be an issue for younger students. However benefits far outweigh the cons especially if you train your students well.
Very easy to use plus you can put a tool on your browser so you don't need to constantly log in when saving links.
