LESSON
Digital Identity Iceberg
What parts of you do people see online, and what parts stay hidden?
Just like an iceberg with 90% hidden underwater, our online presence shows only a small part of who we really are. In this lesson, students explore what they share online and what stays private. They'll learn to create a positive digital identity that reflects their values while protecting their privacy, becoming mindful digital citizens who understand how their digital choices shape how others see them.
Objectives
- Compare aspects of your in-person self with your digital identity
- Decide what information is OK and not OK to share with others online
- Reflect on how you want to be seen or not seen online
