Whether on the playground or online, bullying is a big deal for kids. Unkind behavior can happen over text, social media, or other forms of online communication, and digital spaces create unique situations where conflicts can quickly blow up. It's important for kids to learn the difference between playful jokes and causing harm. Let your child know that they don't have to handle it alone, and that telling you about cyberbullying keeps them and their friends safe. Most importantly, support them in repairing relationships through honest conversations and accountability. With guidance, we can help our kids navigate difficult situations with empathy, courage, and responsibility.
