My Take
Students need clear structure and tools to make research successful. Weava helps keep track of the websites the user has been to, ability to highlight the section of the article that they plan to cite, and a citation machine that makes it easy to learn how to cite. I wish this site could help out with plagiarism but it misses that aspect. It would also be nice to have an extension that gives recommendations or rates sites based on their credibility so that students are using educational material. I don't expect the app to do everything but it does the three basic thing that helps manage the students workflow. The students will be able to go back to the previous websites. The can highlight the site and it copies that section to a well organized side bar. Finally it does the citation right from the extension. I highly recommend this website.
How I Use It
When researching a project, the students are often confused. It's challenging for them to collect all the information and organize it in one place. I would have the students use the Weava extension to keep track of their research and use the citation tool. It would help the students keep track of the websites they went to and make it easy for them to cite their sources.
