My Take
This fun app is versatile because it allows students to select different creatures to add to a "band" who each add their own unique sound to the song the band is singing/ playing. It is very engaging for students, and mine often choose it during free tech time. It is limited in what it presents, but sometimes that is a plus as my students don't get distracted by many features.
How I Use It
This is an engaging teaching too for talking about working together as a group to make music, how a band is formed, and different sounds. I've used it as an into to a unit on composition, and in several capacities: whole group, small group, and individual tech time.

Different songs would be a great addition to this app- as it is the music gets redundant.

A unique app that music-loving students will adore
I use this app with students with autism. This is a fun app that can be motivating to student who loves music. It's well-designed and can be used to help students generalize a couple of different skills. I rated it as a two because it's only a small group of students who are motivated by it. For those students who are motivated by it, there are few skills that can be taught well using the app.
