My Take

In my 3rd year of using the EverFi courses in my classroom, I have found students are more engaged in learning due to the interactive manner of the program. Students have better knowledge of topics and skills they learn through the Compassion Project because of how well it relates to their age and development. I am always able to refer to this course with students and have a meaningful conversation with them regarding the skills they learned and can apply to everyday life.

How I Use It

My students have 2 days a week that they work in EverFi to complete assignments. During free work time, they are always asking if EverFi can be an option. We have class discussion throughout the week about emotional skills and how to develop them and work from the Compassion Project was always a topic that was brought up by students. This program has become part of how we meet our Health and Wellness benchmarks.
