My Take
The Compassion Project was a great review of social-emotional skills for my 4th graders and was a springboard for further engaging discussions about empathy in various settings. My students were engaged and enjoyed using the course.
How I Use It
My students loved using EVERFI courses. We completed many of the Compassion Projects lessons together with engaging discussions. Students also enjoyed reviewing key concepts in the Hockey and Summer Slugger courses. My students remained engaged in the interactive software and concepts, and I will definitely be using EVERFI with future classes.

Excellent SEL Digital Program
The Compassion Project is a great resource to help teach and reinforce lessons on compassion and empathy for K-5 students. I also recommend that teachers follow the in-depth supplementary lesson plans that support the program.

Empathy Lesson for students was great! The site was easy for students to navigate. The lessons were just long enough that students could remain engaged. The lessons were relevant.
I think it is a great idea. I think most students need some sort of social learning. I liked that it could be done independently. I think I would like to do them in order next time, but our class just needed the Empathy lesson. I do like that I can have them do them out of order as well though.

Mindfulness and Empathy are good ways to begin the Compassion Project with 6th grade students.
It is a good supplemental teaching tool for SEL.
