My Take
I like this game. I learn new facts about the states whenever I play with my daughter. There is a lite version if you aren't ready to purchase the app.
How I Use It
Stack the States is a fun way to learn the states in the US. Students must answer a multiple choice question, where the answer is a state. If the answer is correct, they use that state as a block. The goal is the have your stack of states higher than the line. One plus is the ability to have 6 different users on the game. This means students don't have to share one account and you can gain some individual learning.

A Fun Way to Review States!
Overall, Stack the States is an excellent tool for fun and review in the classroom! Although it does not extended learning, it helps students solidify their knowledge about the states. I think students would love to be able to play this game if they finished their work early or had moments of free time throughout the day. by having resources such as Stack the States, teachers can make sure every moment at school is utilized to the fullest!

Engineering and geography skills all in one
This is one of my favorite states/capitals apps. it allows my student a visual representation of where the states and capitals are in a fun and engaging way so seems current to them. This relevance is important to our students and gives credibility to what I am introducing them to in the classroom. That being said, do not expect any depth from this app. You will need to provide the deeper knowledge, but the app takes care front loading for you.
