My Take

Overall, this is a wonderful supplement to teaching math curriculum in class. I miss the assessment component that used to be available. However, I do appreciate that the assignments are aligned to state standards and let me know how long, on average, a student will take to complete the assignment.

How I Use It

I've found this to be a great supplement to the state math standards, and I've taught in 2 different states. The students especially enjoy the class challenges where they are competing with other schools. I create assignments that correspond with our class lessons/topics, so students have maximum practice opportunities. They enjoy working in Prodigy whether they are home or at school. Many times I have better luck getting reluctant students to work in Prodigy than in more traditional classroom activities. The reports feature then gives me the data I need to monitor their progress and performance. I cannot say enough good things about how invaluable I find this resource to be.
