My Take

I have found Oh Noah to be a fun and enjoyable way for my students to practice the words they are learning in Spanish and build upon that knowledge. There are many different activities and games that address various learning styles and resources that I can use in the classroom. I have experienced some glitches occasionally, but overall I have been very pleased with Oh Noah. My students really enjoy the videos and look forward to the games and activities that follow.

How I Use It

I am going to use this product as an introduction and a review. My school has not yet adopted a specific Spanish curriculum, and yet students are expected to be learning Spanish. I have found that the biggest challenge in learning a foreign language is finding ways to practice what the vocabulary in everyday conversation; this product provides fun opportunities and means for practicing and extending learning. The videos in this product can be used as a whole class introduction and the activities and games can be used for individual / small group reinforcement and practice. The characters are ones that kids can relate to easily, and they help to take the fear out of learning a new language. I also appreciate the way that both English and Spanish are incorporated into this product. There is something for each of my students and it is helping them to find the fun in learning something new.
