My Take
I love that I can use an already created Power Point or Google Slides presentation and "Nearpodize" it. I like that fact that it provides an opportunity for ALL students to share their thoughts and ideas. I also like the Virtual Reality tours that fully immerse my students into a different environment- it's a great HOOK for their lessons.
How I Use It
I used this in a leadership class with middle school and high school students. We were discussing how to develop and facilitate a workshop. I used it in whole group instruction. It worked great as it provided students the opportunity to all have a voice by submitting their answers to me through Nearpod. It also worked great for engagement - ALL students were into the lesson because it was displayed closely to them-right in front of their faces on their devices.
