My Take
This is a great supplemental resource that will appeal to a variety of learner types. The content is engaging and presented in a fun way. With limited access to live insects, this app provides rich exposure that would otherwise be unavailable.

How I Use It
The app has photos, videos and text about forest animals that appeal to learners. Learners choose one or more insects to research and create a project (venn diagram, commercial, essay) demonstrating their learning. When selecting two insects, the learner compares and contrasts the insects for their audience to learn similarities and differences. The videos are bit short, so learners may take their notes from learning and create a video of their own! Also, depending on age of learner, the insects could be expanded on due to the limited number in the app.
