My Take

Absolutely love Kahoot! I started using Kahoot and absolutely find the ability to download the results to an excel spreadsheet a great bonus. I added a formula in the last column which allows the ability to calculate an average for each participant. In addition the format of the spreadsheet clearly identifies which questions the students got wrong. The data is an invaluable tool to having immediate feedback and driving instruction as I am able to immediately assess the lesson plan executed and identify skills that need to be addressed and/or retaught. The one issue a teacher might have within the classroom will be students access to the technology to execute properly ( ie laptops, desktops, cellphones with proper apps for data usage, etc.

How I Use It

I used this during a study of human rights. Guided questions from the various articles and video clips were included. Students had easy access and found it engaging. It offers addressing many modalities of various students within the class.
