My Take

There are a lot of options for activities and discussions. They have a free starter pack that you can register for. I registered 2 months ago and still have not received the package, so that is a little disappointing. All of the resources are available to download and are different every month/couple of months. There is a discussion guide for each book as well that offers a lot of questions that are good for hosting a book club. There is also a "Getting Started Guide" that helps to set up the club.

How I Use It

This website has a lot of activities and discussion guides to help initiate a Harry Potter reading club. I arranged a club with my 4th and 5th grade kids. A lot of them had not read the books before, so this was a great way to have an introduction. We ran a lunch club through the library and the kids really enjoyed coming to talk about the books. It took a little while to get up and running, but once the kids became comfortable they were eager to share.
