Community Review for Google Drive
My Take
This is tricky to review because it does not really "do" all that much but it is an essential app in our ecosystem. I think that students must learn to transfer, organize, and share their digital media appropriately securely, and this app has been essential in that regard.
How I Use It
This is one of the most used apps on campus because of its integration with the iPad. Students can create all types of media and upload it to their Google Drive. This app has become the "missing link" between media creation and Chromebooks for our students. A project in iMovie can be uploaded to Google Drive then shared with other students, teachers, and parents. It can also be accessed via a Chromebook where the students store, organize, and share their work.
