My Take
I think that this is a useful educational tool to extend a lesson or to be used to set up a student-driven investigation. I would like there to be more explanations for student choices, which would benefit the special needs population. The graphics, concept, and storyline were well done to keep student engagement on task.
How I Use It
Students were given the opportunity to try and critique the game program. Most students were engaged and interested in the game flow content. However, as a teacher, I see that this game is better for review or extension activity rather than an instructional tool. It seem to lack scientific explanations for the choices student made in their fossil hunt.
