My Take

While I do love this app, I wish that there was a free version of it. (The cost is about $5 a month and requires a credit card.) I can have my complete class in my account but it does require that I enter each name separately. (I can give them each a password if I want too, which I like.) I really like the independence that this app is given to my students as they read. And, I love love love that my students can share a single iPad and the ease by which they can switch accounts, even for my very young readers.

How I Use It

I loved that I could choose categories that my students could read like non-fiction, historical and sports. This nicely complements the printed book library that I have in my classroom. My students can then choose books that interested them from those categories. I especially like that the app with reward them for book choices, book completion and won't allow them to "complete" a book if it wasn't actually read. The offline option is perfect too.
