Great lessons. Use primary source materials. Some are long and may need modified.

My Take

Lessons are usually interesting; draw on primary source and add information about the subject beyond the textbook. Some articles could be discussed as a class, if warranted, and then progress to the activity. Some of the lessons are long (4 days) so you could not use them all the time; but some of them are worth the time for providing the Big Picture.

How I Use It

If you are using with ELL or low literacy; you may have a problem; since many lessons are in original language. However, you could work students in pairs of your choosing to reduce the problem or us an abridged version of the reading.
