My Take
I enjoyed using this app. I like this app for many reasons that will be included now. I particularly liked the concept of an adaptive learning styles because there are many concepts from easy levels to challenging ones. Each student can work at there own pace. This app/website is interactive and easy to use, young people can use this app since it has game like math situations implemented. For teachers, it gives live Realtime feedback to see what information students understand or need a better knowledge of for lessons. I also liked that this app in inclusive and it can be used by anybody which is great. My major concern is the cost, it is nice that there is a 14 day free trail but when that's over, the program can cost up to $7000 which is an astronomical price. Also, I question about the privacy concern of this app, does the data go to a secured location. That is a huge issue in today's society. Overall I enjoyed this app.
How I Use It
If I was a teacher, I'd use this app on a daily basis to teacher students important mathematical concepts. This program is great for students from K-5. Personally, if I was an elementary school teacher I would teach people how to add and subtract because it's interactive and creative. This app has every type of math problem you can think of. I would use this for individualized learning because it can show the concepts students understand and struggle on. The areas students are not understanding, I would explain it in a fun way. I would also assign homework's and assessments through this app because everything is done virtually now. Homework's are actually fun and interactive, it is not your regular your sheet of paper with math problems. Finally I would set benchmarks and goals for students to complete. Anyways, this app is great.
