Overall I liked it as an introduction. The tool provided a general overview of the topic and as an anchor I could reference when working with the students as the unit unfolds.
How I Use It
As a Social Studies teacher, I used this as an introduction to the unit or theme we were covering. I would print out the quizzes provided and the videos would be viewed as a whole class.

Provides brief and understandable explanations about new topics

BrainPOP is awesome for young learners!
I do think brainPOP is great for young learners. This teaching tool is very interactive, you will find things like quizzes, small assignments, and little activities during the video to mess around with. The video is also great for young learners, they make it so students don't feel distracted. In other words, brainPOP makes learning fun! I liked all these things, I like interactive teaching tool that does more than play a video on a topic.
