My Take

I believe this app is a great fun and friendly way to catch the attention of younger children or those with special needs such as autism. The use of animals brings some playfulness to the learning experience, and having to "feed" the animals the fruits means that they're not only learning, but they are also having fun.

How I Use It

Children who have autism often struggle with understanding the facial expressions of others when communicating with them. Getting over this barrier is a step forward in them improving their social abilities whether it may be conversing with strangers, family, or simply just conversing at all. When using the app, introducing it to the child as a fun game, and whilst they play questioning what emotion the animal is feeling after consuming the fruit is a great personal learning experience.
