Easily integrate questions into slides
Pear Deck is incredibly user-friendly and offers many free tools. It is easy to embed questions into a slide, and joining the class group is very easy for students. They create a summary of performance at the end of a session as well, which helps review students' progress. For people comfortable with Google Slides, this program is very easy to use to elevate your slidedecks.

Fantastic to use for any type of training or lessons but Pear Deck has access to copy, delete and download your slides once installed
Amazing add-on to google slide but google privacy clearly identifies that Pear Deck (I have only used their free version) can access your slides and sheets (they can delete, download, copy your slides), they can share your data with third parties.
So sadly I have now stopped using it and would be interested to hear if there are any other more secure add ons out there.

Peardeck is a great interactive visual to teach in this modern era.
It is a great experience to use Peardeck. I found out that it is easy to navigate Peardeck compare to other apps. It is easy to add-on to google slides. It makes my class attractive and keeps the students engaged.

PearDeck on Deck
I thought this was a pretty effective teaching tool. However, I thought it didn't necessarily allow for students to expand on class topics unless the lesson is created that way in the program.

Super easy to use!
I think as this program further develops the micro-bugs will get filled out. As of now, I have no complaints and can't wait to see how it progresses!

Overall I think Pear Deck is a great addition to any classroom and can greatly benefit a variety of students. For students who do not actively participate in class in the traditional form, Pear Deck is a great way to get everyone in the class involved in learning!

A great way for students to work while in online classes
I like Peardeck a lot. It is easy to use and implement. It's a very simple add-on to google slides and gives me all the tools I would like. Peardeck itself is a great way to get students to interact with the power points you make yourself. It has helped me rethink how I make power points and how I like to use them in the classroom.

Peardeck For the Win!
Peardeck is a FANTASTIC tool, and my students seem to enjoy this tool. They really like the drawing feature, and the drag and drops also seems to motivate them to participate. I do have a suggestion based on a student comment: "Could the Take Aways be published so we have access to other people's notes and comments?" So much of what we are doing is collaborative, so this really is a good idea.

Great formative assessment
I recently experienced Pear Deck at the ISTE conference, and I thought it was another canned assessment tool. I absolutely LOVE that this can be integrated with Google Slides as an add-on. I also love the idea that there are multiple assessment types for students, such as drawing responses. The idea that the teacher controls the pace of the assessment is a game-changer for me, as many of my students with special needs are "happy clickers" and do not often take the time to think about the questions. The data is laid out nicely, and its integration with G Suite is wonderful. This would also be a great tool to encourage students who would not respond in a typical classroom discussions feel more comfortable and show their mastery of the material.
