Great lessons that inspire deep thinking for students about social justice.
Great social justice site, engages students because it definitely plays on the theme of fairness and justice that are so important to kids. Some difficult themes especially with regard to civil rights issues, but so important. They also do a great job of addressing bystander vs. upstander issues today, connecting them with historical lessons.

I found that it was a little confusing at first to find the materials. The top page is lacking in direction. It was through random clicking that I was able to find the link for the collections. Once in the collections I found a ton of information including lesson plans, study guides and Audio/Video Collections. Go under Educator Resources and then collections. Because of this organization I think it would be a little difficult for students to find what they were looking at. I would probably provide students with a direct hyperlink to the collection I wanted them to use.
This website will be particularly helpful for those who are teaching about human rights violations, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the history of racism.
