Not very helpfull without pro version
It is a good learning tool, very intuitive and easy to use. On the other hand, they constantly decrease the character limit or functionalities for free users. Overall, the app is not so financially inclusive for lower income students. Have a nice day

Engaging, interactive review
Kahoot! helps student practice fast-paced recall as they race to be the first to answer correctly, giving them points and pushing them higher up on the leaderboard. Kahoot! also forces teachers to manually move on to the next question, giving them a chance to discuss the question and/or take student questions. Additionally, Kahoot!'s leaderboard displays the top 5 players after each question, but does not expose the positions of students lower, and even provides an anonymous player option if teachers wish to use this feature. Kahoot! consistently provides an engaging form of learning and review for students.

Engaging way to review and study!
Kahoot is a brilliant platform for students, especially when reviewing a lesson learned or studying for a test. It essentially is an interactive group study session, where teachers and educators can personalize their own Kahoots to fit into their lesson plans. It's free, easy-to-use, and kids love it! As a middle schooler, we were introduced to Kahoot and I still think it's one of the best ways to review for a test in a fun, stress-free way--giving kids the opportunity to apply what they learned in a competitive game.

Fun Review for Students!!!
I believe this resource is a great way to assist students in their learning. As a student, I would be incredibly happy when a teacher would introduce Kahoot to the class. The overall format and consistent updates the website has are very productive. Additionally, as a teacher, this would be helpful in discovering where your students stand. Also, it provides students with a guide of what to focus on for the next exam. The only potential downside to this website is the public competition. I believe they removed this feature, but there was a point in time where if one obtained an incorrect answer, the screen of their device would light up red. This felt embarrassing and at times made me want to opt out of the next game. Kahoot offers ranks for each student as well, which can add to the anxiety one may feel. What I like as a student and would appreciate if I were a teacher is how an individual has the ability to create their own assessment or utilize one that already exists.

Great site to keep students engaged and learn.
This is one of my favorite tools to use and it is especially helpful with reviews. It implements the element of competition as well, which keeps students engaged, and then you can see the overall responses to see how many students got a question wrong and which alternate answer they chose. Students enjoy it as well, so it is very effective in wrapping up whole lessons, or even introducing them to see how much prior knowledge the student already had.

Accelerating Learning with Games
As an educational tool, Kahoot gamifies learning, increasing motivation and participation in students through fun assessments. While it excels at breaking monotony and boringness in a classroom, educators must balance its entertainment value with learning.

Engaging Review Tool
My favorite thing about Kahoot is how engaging it is for students. As a student, every time a teacher would open a Kahoot in class, every single student in that room became very excited. The formatting and animations help make the tool extremely engaging. Additionally, it is a great tool for assessing a class overall to be sure students are understanding the course content before taking an exam, and it provides direct feedback to students on which concepts they may need to spend extra time studying. My biggest qualm with Kahoot is the public competition. Students are seeing each other's placements which can feel somewhat embarrassing, especially for more anxious or perfectionist type students. This tool definitely supports a culture of competition that needs to be monitored to ensure it is not harmful. However, most of the time that competition is fun, healthy, and engaging for the students involved. I also love that this tool allows teachers to either create their own quiz or find one that already exists and that because so many teachers use Kahoot, there are many existing quizzes to choose from.

One of my favorite tools!
Kahoot is a constructivist approach to pedagogy because it allows students to learn by playing a game. This fast-paced activity increases engagement in students, especially in those who are more competitive. Plus, it keeps the students’ interest for a longer period of time versus a traditional, sometimes more boring review.
As far as SAMR, I believe this tool leans toward the redefinition category, since students have the ability to create their own Kahoots that can be shared to the public. They can also play games created by people from all over. This tool is a great way for students to study and to utilize resources outside of the classroom. I loved playing Kahoot as a student and now I enjoy using it within my own classroom.
One thing I do not like is that Kahoot is not entirely free anymore, but the free options still allow for deep levels of learning.

Reviewing, but in a FUN way!
My overall opinion about this resource as a teaching tool is a good way to teach a class. Not only is it to help students study or learn, but teachers can use Kahoot to host an interactive lesson as students can answer the questions being shown on their devices. However, one thing I don't like about is you need to pay to use every option in Kahoot. Other than that, I would recommend this to teach other students and even for yourself as a college student.

Engaging way to test knowledge
They offer a subscription, but there are also resources you can use without paying for the service. It is very user-friendly and easy to create a Kahoot game. There is also a wide library of games that others have already created to choose from. It is an easy way to add an interactive component to a lesson that allows all students to participate easily from a device.
