Kids love to "play" and teacher reports help guide student learning
This is one of the best products that I have tried and I consistently used it in class both in a situation with limited technology and in a 1:1 environment. The personal avatar that students create and continue to modify based on the points earned in playing the games is extremely motivating. Also the team play aspect has been a huge hit with the students and contributed to the collaborative learning environment. I appreciate the extensive reports that I use to inform instruction. The teacher can select lessons to be shown in group instruction, but the one wish I have with Sokikom is to be able to assign game play at an individual level to coordinate with the lessons being taught in class at the time. This is small relative to the power of the differentiating for each student.

Great interactive activities aligned to Common Core Standards.
My overall opinion is that this website will be great to start teaching different subject that are aligned to the Common Core. I like the fact that there is a component to Depth Of Knowledge questions. The site is colorful, attractive and is not crowded with visuals. The games are engaging yet simple in complexity. They do not seem frustrating. There are word problems at some grade levels however they do not have 3 or more steps.

This tool offers nice features that will help support personalized learning environments
This tool gives a nice framework for supporting personalized learning and differentiation, common core math, and classroom management tool. There is a level of adaptive assessment and differentiated learning paths build into the system. There are great student learning resources. Works best in a 1:1 digital device environment.
