Scoopit is a web tool that allows teachers and students to curate sites from the web and display them in an online magazine format.
Scoopit is not a "made for education' tool, but like many things that are useful in the real world, the educational applications are robust. Outstanding curation and reference site.
Thought this was great - easy to use, easy to learn and easy to adapt.

This is a visually interesting curation tool that is a great way to share information, links, videos, etc for content consumption.

It can be a resource spot, or a jump page for student use. Students can use it to curate the best of their resources that they used for research also. The students love the visual nature of the site. It is not a collaborative tool, or a creation tool. It is like a gathering spot.
